Day 4 and 5

What a day - didn't go quite as planned. Started with the juicing, carrots only, and pleasant but rather gritty. My mouth was a bit sore afterwards, similar to  during the night before,  and I'm now thinking maybe I need to dilute it down. I thought how typical for me to spend money on  a good juicer, then be allergic to what I juice lol.

I had my appointment with my Dr back in TA. Hmm that was interesting. She also is pretty confident it's acid reflux causing all my sore throat symptoms. My throat still red and nasty looking, but not infected. After a dsicussion with her I''ve this morning started what I've been avoiding..... the dreaded losec or omezaparole.  What she said made sense to me. We need to know what's causing it, and if it is reflux then the meds will sort it. If she sends me direct to an ENT specialist, the first thing he'll ask is, 'have I taken losec?' If the answer is no, he won't do anything until I've taken a two week course. She suggested I look on it as a diagnostic tool, and then once it clears go with the diet and juicing.  Sometimes you have to do what you don't want to, but keep the end result in mind. I need to know what's going on so down the hatch the first one went.

I'm hoping it does clear then I know what I'm dealing with, and as she said I can then get on with the juicing and diet.  Now I'm confused though, do I still take my herbal supplements or not. But a state of confusion isn't new to me :)  so I'll deal with it.

The good side was my BP was excellent, best it's been for a while, so even when under stress that's doing well.  My cholesterol was also good, and even better -  the bad one was down and  the good one was up. Or which ever way it's supposed to go. There's hope for me.

I've lost some weight so that's also promising. I'm actually now hoping the drugs work, as that's better than looking forward to a scope down my throat, and in turn wondering what else they may find. Not quite the New Year I have in mind.

Work time.

Jude
